First Love

Yesterday me and one of my co-workers were coming back from dropping off kids at a camp that are church own, it was a long day and I gettin tired and if you don't me, when I get tired I really get talkative so she ask me if your ex-girlfriend said she was sorry about cheating on you would you go back with her?. So at that point I told her I would if she still like me, so when I go home from dropping them off to get there car I was thinkin to myself all the way home about 3 mins that is a whole different blog, back to the story so when i got upthis moring I ask to myself what can of worms have I opened up now so that is when you woh read this can help me I have two questions that I can get some feed back on

1. Why is that guys can forget there first loves?
2. And is wrong for men or women to always hope that if it is God's will get them another chance at that relationship?
